Management Company

Anadolu Technology Research Park Inc. (ATAP Inc.) is the management company of Eskişehir Technology Development Zone.

ATAP INC. was established by the Eskişehir Chamber of Industry on 18 September 1990 as a result of university-industry cooperation in order to increase technological investments in the industry of the province. During the establishment of ATAP A.Ş., international experiences were also benefited by cooperating with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the United Nations Science and Technology Fund for Development (UNFSTD) in 1991.

The most prominent establishment purposes of the Company are to create an R&D ecosystem that ensures cooperation between universities and industry in order to turn scientific knowledge into practice and put it at the service of technology, and also to raise our national industry to the level of developed countries by bringing our country the competitive power in the international market.

Since its establishment, ATAP Inc. has continued its work in the Technopark building located in Anadolu University Yunus Emre Campus, and then in Organized Industrial Zone. During that time, various companies working on computer software, internet technologies, smart cards, printed circuits, security systems, food technologies have operated in the Technopark building by renting an office.

Taking advantage of this knowledge and experience based on many years, ATAP Inc. deals with only the administration and management of Eskişehir Technology Development Zone as it is indicated in the Law on Technology Development Zones.

ATAP Inc. plays a role in disseminating the advanced technology practices in the institutions and organizations operating in the region, sharing existing experiences, evaluating the R&D projects for cooperation at university and industry levels in terms of complying with laws and regulations, selecting appropriate projects, and ensuring that these projects benefit from the incentives and exemptions stipulated in the relevant laws and regulations.

The services provided to entrepreneurs in the Eskişehir Technology Development Zone, managed and operated by ATAP Inc., are as follows:

• - Technical assistance for entrepreneur candidates in incorporation, benefiting from university incubation services, and quality assurance issues
• - Consultancy service on the establishment and operationalisation of R&D and Design centres
• - Allocation of ready-to-use production units that entrepreneurs can rent or independent production units in the OIZ Technopark building
• - Promotion service for TDZ companies at national and international cooperation platforms and fairs
• - Assistance to entrepreneurs in finding investors, matching for project collaborations and marketing
• - Consultancy services on trademark registration, IPR, patenting, and technology transfer.
